Carol Sandoval

Carol Sandoval is a research assistant at the Penn Center for Minority Serving Institutions. She was born and raised in McFarland, CA and is now an undergraduate student at the University of Pennsylvania studying Biological Basis of Behavior. She is also the Chair for Admissions on the undergraduate Latin@ Coalition, which serves to represent the undergraduate Latinx population and increase the number of admitted Latinxs at the University of Pennsylvania. She has conducted research in the Perelman School of Medicine studying the relationship between obesity and addictions. Her interests include working with migrant families and advocating for underrepresented and minority communities.
