Justin P. Guillory

Justin P. Guillory was appointed as the President of Northwest Indian College (NWIC)—located Lummi Indian reservation in Bellingham, WA—on July 27, 2012, after serving over five years as the Dean of Academics and Distance Learning and Dean of Extended Campus Sites. Justin’s previous professional experience included serving as the site manager for the NWIC-Nez Perce extended campus site on the Nez Perce reservation in Lapwai, ID and as the graduate assistant/ mentor program coordinator for the Native American Student Center within the Office of Multicultural Student Services at Washington State University in Pullman, WA. Raised on the Nez Perce reservation in Lapwai, Idaho, Justin is a descendant of the Nez Perce Tribe and also has African American and Hispanic ancestry. Justin earned a Bachelor’s degree from Eastern Washington University, where he also played football; and attended graduate school at Washington State University, earning a Master’s degree in Educational Administration and a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration. Justin and his wife, Sunny, have 3 children.
